He is a Cleric residing in Kilifi County from the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK) where he serves as a National Board Member (2014-to date).
Bishop Amos Lewa is the presiding Bishop – in Joy fellowship Ministries since 2007 to date. He is also a CICC Board Member Board Member of Coast Interfaith Council of Clerics-Trust since 2015 to date. He is the chairman CICC Kilifi County. He is also the founder member of Achonyi Council of Elders in Chonyi sub county.
He is the Kenya Ecumenical Bishops Council in Kilifi County coordinator and chairman of Interfaith Council of Kenya in Kilifi county on the COVID-19 awareness. He also chairs CICC projects implemented in Kilifi County; coordinates the County, sub-county and ward CICC structures to ensure they remain active in their areas of operation. He played a great role when CICC was mediating the two conflicting sub counties of Kauma and Chonyi. He has been involved in the implementation of the Contributing towards sustainable peace in Kilifi County.
Bishop Lewa is among the counselors in Kilifi County and plays a big role in offering counseling to vulnerable women and youth who have experienced violent extremism. He also serves as a member of the Kilifi County Budget and Economic Forum (KCBEF).
